- Built in 1879, replacing a previous residential structure, this home was a wedding gift from james Eads to his daughter. First owners were Edward M. and Martha Eads Sitzer. The 1896 Cyclone tore off the roof and the front bay window. Later, as with many of the homes in the Square, it became a rooming house.
